Negative trigger means that the alarm brain will send a "negative" pulse to the system to perform a certain command. The manual says that the lock/unlock leads will send a 500mA negative pulse. That means that the wire will be "pulled" to ground and able to dissipate 500mA of energy from the door lock system. Most cars should be negative trigger, hence the alarm is made that way. I think the wiring diagrams in a Chiltons/Haynes manual should give you that info.

DISCLAIMER: I in no way know how to wire an alarm. I'm simply taking my EE knowledge and putting it to use. I had my alarm installed professionally and would suggest the same to anyone else.

It looks like there's something wrong with your car. It looks like two of the cylinders fell off the back of the LT1.

ahem, Notfred, if my car was a 4.3L V6, then in theory the 2 back cylinders of an LT1 could have fallen off. My car is a 3.4L V6, please get your facts straight before you bash my F body.

Thank you.

Now, does anyone have any suggestions as far as the keyless entry goes?
