**NEED HELP** windowsXP is taking forever at windows is shutting down screen, how do i fix it?

i was doing some tweaking and now windows is taking forever to shutdown and restart. start up times are also kind of slow. i tried resetting the tweaks i made but no affect. thanx

Pull the plug when it gets to that screen. That should make it shut down quicker...

Yo,
Had the same problem with XP.

Reinstalling the OS did the trick.
