In Japanese, you can call him Kawaikunai aka-chan

I am not sure how chineses totally works but if you are looking at Hiragana or Katakana you need to find the phonetic groups.

Like Chris is actually 'ku ri su' in Japanese.

there could be other ways to do it due to the fact there are many words in the chinese language that produce identical sounds

I like the way yours looks better...I just want to make sure its right

ok, his has a different first character, but his second two are simplified chinese version of my last two characters. simplified chinese is primarily used in china while traditional still is taught in taiwan. simplified is easier to learn but traditional imo looks better.

yah, most people who learn simplified can read both and those who learned traditional can guess at simplified. so traditional would be a safer bet anyways
