NEed help which res monitor

I am in the market for a new monitor.I am getting a hd dvd/blu ray drive for the pc and this is where the trouble comes into play.

I can get a 16x10 monitor for $150 or a 19x10 monitor for $200
Blu ray is 19x10,so on a 16x10 monitor will the blu ray look bad and will I have the black bars?

I know @ 16x10 I will get better framerates then @ 19x10 but I want my movies to look good.RIg is in my sig.ONly play bioshock,cod waw and nfs mw.
Do you think I will still get good framerates with my rig in sig at 1920x1080? Or should I say the heck with it and get a 1680x1050 monitor

Either will be fine with playing blueray movies. But as mentioned above what video card do you have.

get higher res.
pixel density is better. 1650x is cheapo cost cut compromise resolution for such a size.
