Need Help: Water filtration expert advice needed

I've got a washing machine hooked up to a different well on the property that i live on in a shop. As common with a lot of private wells, there can be high iron content, which can cause the water when it gets to low levels to look 'rusty'.

Is there a filter out there that i can hook directly up to the hot/cold intake valves and remove this iron content ??? It doesn't happen often, just when the water table gets low. I'd like to find a solution that works. I've searched all over the internet, and found a few *probable* solutions, but these companies are located out of the US.

Is there a retailer that might have what i want in the US ??

I had the same problem and installed a whole house filter.

Parts were only about $55 and it cured the problem.

Do you live near a Lowes or Home Depot? hell most hardware stores should have a water softner thing. I have seen them as small as a cup to the size of washing machines, just go in there and look.
