i have 2 mointors that im trying to setup in XP.
i have 1 AGP ti200 geforce card...
and 1 PCI generic old skool vid card w/ like 4 mb ram

after i put in the old vid card . xp doesnt reconzie it as a new hardware at all... could it be that the card is bad or that i need to tweak some XP settings 1st?

thx

that should work. i have a computer that ran win2k and winxp at work that has 2 additional video cards and i set it up the exact way. try getting another pci card and using that.

shouldn't this be in a different forum? oh well...

can't emphasize this enough.
update your bios... on the mobo.

like gopunk said...
the first place that i'd look is your pci slot lay out.

on some mobo's you can actually allow certain pci slots to take precedence in terms of shared irqs.
so.. put it on the first one... the one next to agp port.

I couldn't get 3 to work🙁

I once had a Matrox G450 DH and ATi 4MB PCI card attached to 3 monitors. Damn, I miss that setup.

i have a setup that includes 2 tnt's and 1 onboard (yeah, i got a dell, it's corporate)... hooked to 2 21's and 1 15' lcd, respectively. sweet setup.
