Need help w/Hotmail's "timeout"

SpotDancer

If I get an email, open it and click on one of say four or five links, read something, and then come back to the original email and try to click on another link, I get a timeout message. I have to close the email and reopen it.......whatta pain in the arse!!!! I have looked high and low for a way to extend this timeout period but have been unable to find it.

Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks for any input!

Did you try OPTIONS, ADDITIONAL OPTIONS, SESSION EXPIRATION? You can specify 2hrs to NEVER. Mine is set to NEVER (never expire).

You should set the session to expire after some time. Microsoft recommends the following, "For security reasons your Hotmail session can be set to automatically expire."

If your setting is a two hours (the lowest setting), you can set it up to twenty four hours (the highest to automatically expire).

If your timeouts are within minutes then there is a network problem or network configuration issue.
