Need help w/ dvd decoder.

If I insert a dvd into the dvd burner a message pops up saying "cannot play dvd, no compatable dvd decoder software is installed" what program/app do I need to install to get this dvd decoder?

anytime, excellent piece of software and i just use it as a universal player, i haven't even touch on its other capabilities
