Need Help: V5 5500 and WinXP

I use the win2000 drivers and they work pretty good. Install them and ignore the errors. Then reboot and install them again. Overwrite all files. Tell it to fix the problems. Then reboot and install once more. This time you will not get any errors and they will work fine.

by the end of this year or a month or so the V5 will be out of my system, and I don't plan on going to XP. the V5 was a great card, I got it the day it came out, but it's getting out dated and no more drivers.........RIP 3dfx🙁

na, I'm gonna extend it's life another year. No game has come out that I play which suffers poorly w/ the v5. I'm gonna get my $150 worth damn it =)

the V5 is well past it's prime, feature wise, power wise and now it's getting behind drivers wise.....it was a great card in it's day I got it the day it came out paid 300 dollars for it and felt it was well worth it , I got my monies worth, but it's almost time to move on unless you only play old games. soon there will be problems with new games, there are few problem games already. In today's world you can't ask a graphics card to really keep up for more than a 1 1/2 years after it's release so the V5 did pretty good.

lets face it the V5 got a bad rap from the review sites, it's was better in the real world than it looked on paper
