Need help using wired and wireless network at the same time

Somewhat new to wireless, but successfully did a similar setup as this one using all linksys profucts. I figure it's probably something easy I'm missing. I'm setting up a network that uses a wireless and and wired network. The wired is in one building and the wireless access point is in another building. I have everything working but the problem is in order to get on the wireless I have to disable the wired connection in "Network Connections" and if I want to use the wired network then I have to disable the wireless.

Hardware in use:
Access Point = Adaptec Ultra Wireless Access Point
Wireless Adapters = Adaptec Ultra Wireless USB Adapter
Wired Router with print server = D-link 704P

I would get rid of 1 but 1 the wireless supplies internet connection and the wired is part of print server

Thanks in advance

I am not sure that your setting is correctly done.

The Access Point should be plugged to a regular port on the Wired Router.

The Wireless Client Card should go on the Computers.

If you need to bridge between the two buildings you need two Access Points.

The access point is connected to a router in building #1 and the building #2 is getting on the wireless network and internet as long as I have the wired network disabled in building #2 disabled using the usb adapters.

I could bridge it but I don't want to since the place already has this equipment and everything is working. Just not all at the same time.
