NEED HELP using DVDShrink 3.1 - Should I use the EAC "Sharp (default)" when a movie will only be 13% compressed?

I ALWAYS use "DEEP ANALYSISE" then I back up my dvd. If a movie is more than 15% compressed (85-99), then I use "DEEP ANALYSIS" and AEC "Sharp (default). If the movie is less than 15% (1-84) compressed, then I do a "DEEP ANALYSIS" and then a regular shrink. Is this the best way to do this?

Seem like a good method.

Now someone needs to find a way to integrate the CCE encoder into DVD Shrink & i'd be gloriously happy...

so you think that it is better to leave AEC off if the compression is 15 or less? I wouldn't get better results with it on at this low compression right?

I only use deep analysis if the compression is maybe less than 85% - Otherwise I don't bother. So far, using Deep analysis and Sharp AEC has worked great for me when I needed it for long movies.

probably not. I do on my desktop since I have a laptop to use, so Im in no hurry.

In constrast to the time DVD rebuilder with CCE takes, it's not much time at all

For longer movies that will require more than 15% to 20% compression I reauthor and remove all the foriegn cr@p from the main movie and rip a 100% iso to hard drive. Open iso w/shrink again and split it by chapters/titles to burn the movie to 2 DVDs.
