Every CPU is different, some will do 3.0 without an increase, some won't. You just have to try it and see.

^ is correct. If she isnt stable, then scale the voltage up slowly until she is.

Well i increase my FSB to 333 with 9 multiplier and voltage is currently set to auto and i check it, it was running at 1.26(Vcore right is the cpu voltage?)

then i run prime 95 for couple hours its fine but someone when i run some application for example to store data software and i choose MAX Performance on this application but in the middle of the process it restart my PC does it mean my pc not stable or?? or should i increase my voltage?

please advice

thanks

This could be your problem.
Set your voltage manually in your BIOS to what you want it at.

ROFL... i think your looking at the wrong voltage.

I cant think of any board where the lowest voltage would be 1.5 thats usually the MAX.

I would say its probably safe to set your voltage around 1.35 without burning your chip. It would all depend on your cooling however. If your running stock, it might get a bit warm, but it would be safe. If your running an aftermarket, i hear 1.4 is even safe.

Your voltage should start somewhere around 1.0-1.2ish. Depending on the board, it will often go up to 1.5-1.9. Up to 1.45 - 1.5ish, you should be ok, depending on what kind of cooling you're using. Beyond that you're risking hardware damage.

Which motherboard are you using? If your BIOS has vcore settings starting at 1.5 volts, I'd get a new motherboard. Also, have you tried scrolling through the list of voltages? Sometimes the top of the list is the highest setting.
