Need Help! Thsi is very urgent

Hi, I built my own computer, and i know i have ddr ram, my friend bought his computer, and is not sure what type he has. He wants to upgrade, but i can not go over his house any time soon. How can he check w/o opening his computer what type he has?

Thanks

What kind of processor does he have and who made his computer? Belarc Advisor is a program that will tell you who made his motherboard and what model it is. Get him to d/l that program and run and then email what pops up in the window for results and then post it here then we can help.
