My cpu reading via asus probe is 48-50 celsius and the mother board is 26-27 celsius.
My system config is as follows:
amd xp 1600
IBM Deskstar 7200
asus A7v266 motherboard
cak38 global win fan(6950rpm) astride a massive copper heatsink
Enermax 350 w P.S. with 2 fans(1 above the cpu) running at 3000rpm
1 80mm case fan at 3000 rpm behind the cpu pulling air out.
1 80mm case fan at 3000 rpm in the bottom front of the case pulling air in.
1 80mm case fan at 3000 rpm at the top of the case pulling air out of the case...I cut this myself.
I was expecting cpu temps to be lower, maybe low 40's and motherboard temps to be about 22-23.
Were my expectations unrealistic or what? Should i be getting a lower temp. How could a lower temp be achieved with fan cooling?
