NEED HELP, SYSTEM LOCKING UP

Hi,
Just finished putting all the pieces together last night (the specs are listed below) but my computer locks up every 10-30 minutes. And sometimes it takes up to 15 minutes after I power down to run the system again.
Did I not configure the Bios correctly? I didn't touch the bios yet and have it running at optimal settings. Also the temperature of the CPU seems fine although I had minor issues installing it and rubbed some of the sivler compound off...
I'm afraid this will lock up again soon...
Help... help... help..

Also:

1) ensure that your power supply's 115-volt / 230-volt slide switch is set for the correct voltage for your country's utility power.

2) use a lower-powered video card like an older GeForce or Radeon, as a fact-finding step. If this works, you might need more 12-volt amperage.

3) ensure that your ATX12V cable is plugged in, and naturally the auxiliary power cable to the video card as well.

why don't u try reapplying some more compound and have a look at the BIOS once and set everything to default. have a go.

ok,
I'm 99% sure it's not a heat problem or a problem with my bios.
I notice when I plugged my HP PCS 1200 All-in-One to my USB ports I get an error msg after about 10 minutes. Then when I tried to use my web cam which was attached via USB the computer locked up again.

It remained locked up for 15 minutes till I changed my power supply to my old one. I'm assuming when I plug my old power supply back in it will work again.

Otherwise the computer is working fine. No lag nothing else noticable. I'm wondering if there are any tools out there I can download to help me find the problem.

Thank...
