Need help setting up two WD Raptor HDs in RAID-0 on P4P800 Deluxe. How do I Fdisk it?

When I run fdisk, it shows TWO drives (even tho they are in raid-0).. one sized at 5gb, with all space used, and also shows another drive with 12gb, all space free... i have no idea why, since I used the intel raid application and they are raid-0'd together. It should show only one drive. Is it showing these weird sizes because the total drive size (70~gb) is more than DOS's fdisk can handle?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

btw, see my signature for my system info (motherboard, etc)
P4P800 Deluxe w/bios 1009

Windows XP

i do want to install XP on it, but i first wanted to copy files off my other harddrive onto it for backup.. I guess i could install XP on it first but I thought I could just use it without installing an operating system on it first

ok ok, i am going to settle with installing Window XP on it to format and partition the raid-0 drive... but one problem
what do i use for the raid driver disk that it asks for (press F6 when you're first installing Windows XP).. I couldnt seem to find any drivers like I could for the Via Promise controller.

Anybody with a P4P800 Deluxe that knows what to use as a driver disk when installing WinXP on a drive on the Intel controller, let me know plz!

ok thanks.. i will look.. i just thought they would have updated them online by now if they had them.. but maybe they are the same as the original ones or something

i'll be darned.. you have to run the makedisk.exe with the IAA3.5R files

i just tried it and wondered what it would put on the disk lol
it turns out to be the inf files and everthing 😀 thanks for the help
