Need help setting up Actiontec PCIV92120CW modem

I have just installed an Actiontec V.92 PCI internal modem. The drivers went ok and if someone calls while I am online I can pick up the phone, talk, then hang up and I'm back online. My problem is that I should see who is calling and it should log the call. That does not happen. The CD has a folder called Software, what programs do I need to install? I need a FAX application.

I believe you have to have caller ID for that feature to work.

RemyCanad is right - the only way you will be able to use the caller log in feature is if your regular phone service includes Caller ID.

Phone company verified I have caller ID and call waiting. Does anyone on this forum use an Actiontec V.92 PCI modem with caller ID? I have 2 CD's from Actiontec with the software for Modem on Hold.which version should I use?
