I have a friend who has a Panasonic DP-190 printer. The printer uses a network cable to connect to a 5 port switch. There are three computers on the network. Recently they changed their dsl service to another provider. Now the printer will not print. I assume this is a IP address problem. Can someone tell me how to fix this issue? Thanks!

Take the IP address situation private. Buy a router. Seriously buy a router.

If you write a little more about the IPs in the network, what changes were done when they changes providers and such I could probably help more. Also, PELarson is right. Get a decent NAT device to share your Internet connection. Having one with a built-in print-server doesn't hurt either.

If his Panasonic is plugged right into the switch then there is no reason to spend a premium on a router with an integrated print server.

But as PELarson said, get a router so you can use internal IP addresses. From the sounds of all of your devices might have been using external IP addresses; which isn't cool.
