I currently have Verizon Fios coaxial with Actiontec modem/N-router

Actiontec -> WIRED -> PC, HTPC, WDTV, VOIP
Actiontec -> Wireless -> Ipad, touchpad, smartphone, etc

I would like to add WRT610N as a bridge/access point.

I set my WRT610N to 192.168.1.2 and disabled DHCP.
Connected Actiontec -> Wired -> LAN port 1 on WRT610N (where WDTV use to be).
Rebooted everything and no internet/cannot connect to WRT610N Wirelessly.
I can use WRT610N's 3 other port (WDTV/Xbox360/HDhomerun), but not wifi.

My laptop connects to my actiontec wifi, but not my 2nd router (WRT610N) wirelessly.
Any suggestions?

TIA

UPDATE: my Evo can connect WRT610N wirelessly, so the problem is with my XPS15. It detects my SSID but it cannot connect...any ideas?

UPDATE2: It worked! Rebooted, Actiontec, WRT610N and my XPS15. Voila!

Did you connect a computer to another port on the WRT and check the connection to the Actiontech (the IPs etc.). Not having Internet is Not a network diagnostic tool.

There are a bunch of threads over on dslreports.com that illustrate how to set up the actiontec in configurations with multiple access points and routers.

I can't find the one I saw when I was configuring mine (I used a wrt54g running DD-WRT), but it was definitely on dslreports.com. There were a lot of steps though, including resetting the routers and powering them on in a specific order so they bridged correctly. It was a bit more complicated than I expected.

My WDTV --> wired to Port 2 of WRT610N (port 1 is coming from actiontec)
My Xbox360 --> wired to Port 3 of WRT610N
WDTV and Xbox360 are networked and routed. The only problem I have is with WRT610N wifi connection. Is this not networkable due to DHCP being disabled?

I see my WRT610N under SSID but cannot connect.

UPDATE2: After rebooting everything, it works! Thanks JackMDS and Wyndru.
