ok, so I was installing a dvd burner in my computer when I accidently pulled a cord from the processor fan. After all was said and done, I tested it, and the the cord(thank god), that I pulled is the monitoring cord, I think(Green Cord). The fan still works to full potential(to my knowledge). This still irks me as I don't have a way to monitor my processor.
I was doing some research and found a buncha different heatsink/fans to go with, but I'm having trouble narrowing one down.
I have a Intel D845PEBT2 Motherboard, and a 2.53 Ghz processor.
I believe I need a Socket 478 compatible heatsink/fan, I just need to know where to buy it(I was searching pricewatch/newegg/etc). I want to stay around the $20-$30 dollar range.
