Need help replacing part on a Samsung Plasma

I have a Samsung Plasma model HP-T5034. The TV turns on, but there is no image at all, not even the menu is visible anymore.

The upper P-Y Main PDP Board for Samsung HPT5034 Plasma TV has a part that is burned out as seen in this image:



Is it possible that this is caused by a faulty capacitor? Or do you think I can just replace this part only? Thanks.

Replacing that board should work but no idea what could have caused it
could have overheated, power issue maybe

May want to also think about replacing the tv
Looks like the part alone is ~$100 plus labor if your not doing it
Might be better to put that toward a new tv

Or hop on ebay...probably a $30 part that will take 30 minutes to replace.

Also, seems unlikely it was a capacitor issue. Or a power issue for that matter since only one chip failed catastrophically.
