need help removing contacts from Outlook Express

I hate how OE is now integrated with AIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :| :| :| :|

OE automatically populated my contacts list with all of the screennames on my AIM buddy lists, and I remove the contacts in OE without having the software automatically remove those contacts from the AIM buddy list as well


anybody have a fix for this that doesnt involve switching to a diff mail program?

my problem is not AIM automatically started with OE...because ive already disabled that (and I run AIM 24/7 anyways)

the problem is trying to remove the 100s of names on my contacts list when there are only a few people ia ctually email
