Any ideas what errors you are getting?

Try helping yourself out a little and put some more info out here.
What system?
MAC, PC, Iphone? What?

some part of the drive cannot be read... but chkdsk runs always pass with flying colors even with the /R option

File corruption and drive faults (bad sectors) are two different beasts. Chkdsk will bypass bad sectors. Spinrite is worth a try if the data is important. But, you need to replace the drive.

Backup everything on the drive first, then go to the manufacturers web site and run there diagnostic tools. Most will have a low level-non-destructive scan and a high-level high-destructive scan that will give you a error code if it fails. Then you can call the manufacturer with that code and have them replace it.
