It depends on the model of your guitar. I'm pretty sure that guitars with the fender strat style headstock have their strings all wound one way, while guitars with the split peg Les Paul style headstocks have their strings wound in opposite directions. I could show you easily if I could draw it out, but it's too hard to do it with ASCII characters. Basically just wind them the way they are wound now. Make a note of whether each peg is turned CW or CCW for tightening and then do it that way. Make sure you leave enough slack on the strings when you start tightening that they'll grip when you're finished. But don't leave so much that you have 25 turns of wire on each peg. It's just a practice thing.
