Ok, so I'm a student and I use a tablet PC to take notes.

I recently reformated my tablet and backed up all my files on to a fairly new USB disk (used only maybe 5-10 times) Now I can't access the data!! It shows up as Removable Disk, when I try to click it, it just lags and then says

"G:\ is not accessible.

The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

I have mid terms tomorrow and am FLIPPING out!!

NOTE: I have accessed the data that I backed up BEFORE it became corrupted. It did transfer and store just fine, but now its saying its corrupted.

What's the USB drive manufacturer and model? Some manufacturer sites have formatting programs specific for particular drive models. That just might revive your drive. Else you're probably outta luck.
