I currently have been running WIN 2K on the following Rig and I am not happy with the performance. I am thinking of replacing my MOBO, which hopefully will get me the results I am looking for. I am open to any and all suggestions not limited to the mobo. Thanks for tyhe help and advice.

It just doesn't quite do it. My seek time is slow. I have had a world of trouble with the Plextor and the VIA controllers. I can't get max perf from my Plextor. From all of the posts I have read it seems there is a divided crowd about the KT7A. I probably won't go DDR for a while so please ......................let 'em rip. BTW I am not looking to OC
