Hi all,

I need your help with some overclock.

I own a 4770K i7 CPU and a Corsair H60 cooler. Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-Z87-UD4H.

I was doing some overclocking today trying to get to a higher frecuency number. Before I was at 4.0Ghz fairly easy, so I want to take the CPU to 4.2Ghz.

Also I have bought 2x4Gb 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance memory (rated 1.5V), but at stock settings the system only recognizes them as 1333.

This are the settings I have so far:

CPU Vcore: 1.170V (1.176V Sensor)
CPU Ring: 1.065V

Multiplier: 42
Uncore: 39

X.M.P profile 1 (that way the memory display 1600Mhz) (1.488V Sensor)

Disabled turboBoost.

Everything else on auto.

CPU temp under 70º C.

Aida Stability Test for 1 hr without problems.

What do you think about it? am I wrong on something? There´s something more I need to do?

Thanks for the aswers Jacky.

I have read all that tutorials, but I was looking for some real feedback from people that have some experience on overclocking.

I just was careful, because I was not sure if its safe to rise the voltage to 1.2V or higher with the cooler I have.

So you think I need to rise the voltage only?
