Ok since this is my first overclock i have been reading for hours. So i understand it. I go into the bios and put the muliplier at x10 2000. I raise the fsb by 5. Now when i raise it to around 115. It shows the start up screen where it checks teh memory etc and then it stops after it says press the del if u would like to skip the oc and go to bios.. or something like that. It should be checking the the drives but it doesnt. Instead it restarts it self and then finds the drives and gets into windows. I havent raised the voltage yet and still 1.4. What should i do. Right now i can boot at 235 and sometimes can boot. If i turn off my pc for a moment it works and heat is not a issue. 30c with door off

Set your HT Multiplier to 1x. It won't work otherwise.

edit: Regarding the ram, please hold the Control key and F1 at the same time as soon as you enter the bios screen. This should cause the memory timing options to appear. Good luck!

Its the board itself. Same board, and it has problems at 220 for me. Also try lowering ur RAM speeds from 200 to 166 or 133. And try to get the amount of RAM to 2 sticks. AMD is not very good at 2T command rate...

If you set your HT Link Multiplier to 1x (instead of 3x or 4x you would normally use for overclocking) then the IDE detection and reboot issue will go away. I was able to get my K8N-SLI up to 335fsb/htt. Keep in mind that the HT Link Multiplier option might only show up in the M.I.T. menu if you hold Control + F1 at the main bios screen on bootup. I think bios F5 didn't require it for my board, though.
