need help optimizing ram

I have windows me and 256mb of 222 ram. I noticed that the available physical memory is only 54mb. How can I improve this? thanks

Try AnalogX's Maxmem program. It's a free program that sits in your tray. When you click on the icon, it'll try to free as much RAM as it can.
