Need help opening .123 lotus spreadsheet file

Trying to open up an old spreadsheet at work and i can't find a copy of Lotus Notes anywhere. Is there a free reader i can download? Thanks in advance.

Although you may lose some functionality depending on the spreadsheet, opening up .123 Lotus files can be done through Microsoft Excel.

Thanks. I already tried that but i got an error stating that the file could not be opened.

Only other thing I know is Microsoft has some tips on their website about what to do. Some may be already what I said, but maybe there is something else here:

Use your office install disk. The lotus translator should be "intall on first use" by default but you may have x'd the option. You can still add it
