Need help on using 2 routers on 1 network

Basically, I needed more internet access throughout the house (wireless) since one side of the house can't reach the main router's signal.
I bought another router of the same model as my original and I was wondering if now, there was a way to use both routers on the same network with the same name

If not, is there any way that I can get internet on both routers at the same time / connect them into 1 network?

You can Not use two Routers as Routers and maintain one network.

You can use the second device as a switch or as a Switch with an Access Point if it is Wireless.

i have a Linksys SRX200 hooked up and a Linksys WRT54G sitting around. If I flash the firmware on on the 54G over to Tomato, would i be able to set it up a WDS? can i still use WPA2 for encryption?
