I have my computer for about 3 years now.
Since I just recently bought a dell 1800 fp lcd monitor i'm getting eager to upgrade again.
My computer specs are:
Amd 2400xp
Ati Radeon 9700 pro
Asus a7n8x deluxe version 2
Antec Clone Case
512mb mushkin cas2-2-2 pc 2100
512mb Corsair Xms pc 2700
2 wd 80gb 7200 rpm 8mb cache harddrives.
Logitech(forgot which model) 5.1 speakers the cheap ones that the speakers look like baseballs.
Generic 300watt psu
I'm going to keep my harddrives since 160 gb should be enough for me.
I pretty much want to upgrade everything except the monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
Any suggestions on what should I get?
I'm going to use the computer for moderate to heavy games.
I'm looking for a case that's not too big as my antec clone case, cools well, and that I also can neatly organize all my cables.

I would recommend a A64 system with this case contrary to the description the PSU has a +12v of 21A which is excellent for a case+PSU in that price range. It is very solid and well designed and hiding cables is a cinch. I just used one for a build and I'm highly impressed with it for the money.

The Soltek K8N2E is a excellent price/performer/feature set and add 2x512mb of these

I'd pick a 6800GT or X800 pro for the vid card, the rest is dealers' choice :)

I think a Seagate SATA 160gb would be better. About the same price. And for vid card, either that or an X800 Pro.

jpeyton is the king of this stuff. See his stickied post.

You didn't state how much you want to spend.

I'd recommend waiting on the nf4-sli boards which are available for pre-order in the UK right now.
