Have upgraded to Windows 10 OS from Windows 7. PC was working fine for couple of days, but then it began to hang and give what not errors. I really am tired of this. Is this related to hardware problem that should I be aware of or should I simply revert back to Windows 7.

It's up to you. There could be a problem with a driver, there could be underlying hardware issues. Windows 10 has a pretty wide array of drivers available, but some manufactures/vendors are refusing to provide driver updates for their older hardware on this OS.

For reference, I ran into an issue with my Lenovo laptop. It also ran fine for a while, then started randomly gong to sleep. In my case, going back to Windows 7 fixed the issue for me. I did notice that, in my case, there were some fairly "vanilla" for a couple of my devices, and I found this to be due to the fact that the manufacturer wasn't providing their own drivers for Windows 10.

But that was just my case. If you want our help, give us more specifics, and try looking at the System logs in Event Viewer for any clues as to what the problem might be.

So far windows 10 has been perfect on my PC's (built by me)
Our Dell laptop? No so much.
Rock solid in windows 8. Ubuntu.
Works great in Windows 10...for a week or so on a fresh install with latest drivers from dell, installed in dells recommended order.
Few days/weeks later, usb ports flake out. Usually throwing the CRW.20 (whatever it is...can't remember) usb error whenever you try and connect something. Ports still work. Wireless mouse\external drive will work fine if they are connected prior to whatever update screws up the drivers. You just can't installl anything new.
I haven't had the chance to find the exact update that causes problems.

Avenues to check -
Check device manager and look for any problem devices.
Make sure you have the right drivers for your hardware.
You could check to see if launching Windows with the "use only signed drivers" stuff turned off (F8 at start up, start up options - it should be in the list)

I've noticed that 10 runs best off a clean install, however if you want to keep your upgrade then you might try as Ketchup suggests and update all of your drivers. Check device manager for yellow exclamation marks which are a sure sign of problems.
