need help on processor decision

i am trying to squeeze every bit of juice i can from socket 939. now i am trying to decide between the opteron 170 or 175 is it worth it to go with 175. are opterons good for gaming, video editing, etc...

i forgot to mention that i won't overclock.
 
The 175 will give you a bit more Mhz than a 170. Opteron 175= x2 4400. I am selling a 4400 if you are interested. If so, please check the FS forum.
 
Always buy the fastest processor you can afford. Always. The only time that doesn't apply is if you have plans on overclocking it.
