Hi everyone~ i'm using P-III 800 Slot one cpu. It's supposed to run at 100*8 but i'm trying to have it run faster.
I have ABIT BE6-II series motherboard, RW model. I've tried 120*8 , windows loaded, but had too many problems. So i'm just running at 113*8= 904 mhz.
I think my cooling's ok, my cpu's always cool. Is there anyone who knows if my cpu would run stable at higher frequency? Thank you~

I could also be reached at jskap@pacbell.net

the highest i could get on my katmai 800 was 920... (the highest bus supported is only 115 on my mobo)
i don't exactly remember what brand of the mobo was...the only thing i'm sure of is it's one of those w/ 440BX chipsets

<< katmai 800 >>

There was no Katmai above like 600MHz. That's a CuMine. Anyway, I'd try 115, and just go a MHz at a time (If that board has 1MHz increments). You're not gonna damage your CPU as THG's showed recently. And iif it doesn't work try increasing the Vcore bit by bit also. That will help increase stability at higher clock speeds.
