I have Micron ram which is considerabely pritty good but the actual dimm piece is made by Texas Instruments (I think, thats what some programs say it is). I know for sure the chips are Micron because i went to their site and the serial codes are the exact same as on my chips using their numering system. However, i wanted to know if the dimm by Texas Instruments is actually limiting my ram making it "shitty" ram. Is my ram actually "crap" or does it not matter? Oh, and one more thing, if i set my ram to cas2, it booted successfully, in sisoft i only get 20 marks more on bandwith and such, does this mean i have cas2 ram?
