Ok I have a Athlon 64 Bit 3400 Socket 754 CPU and I was wondering if I buy a AMD 64bit barebone notebook will it work in it?

Second whats a good site that sells AMD barebones. ABSpc.com only had one in stock and a little over my price range.

Im wiling to spend 600-650$ on a notebook to use for school and little gaming.

Please help, thanks

If thats how much you are planing to spend on building your own laptop, then you are better off buying a regular laptop and selling that 3400 for some denero on Ebay.

I've not seen many S754 AMD barebones. MSI is your best bet, not sure where you would find them online.

I would sell the CPU and buy a new laptop
