Well the Silencers IIRC just use different fans. I could be wrong though.

As for the Seasonic, that is a manufacturer as far as i know. But Silicon Acoustics sells rebadged Seasonics. They are very nice PSU's and at the top of the SPCR recommended list. If you want a little more power take a look at the S12 their new PSU which replaces the Super Tornados.

I can replace the fan to something like a slow speed Panaflo on these right? Stock fan is kind of loud. Other than that, very good reviews on this Manufacturer.

Usualy the answer to that question is no, but there are exceptions to that rule. If you want to, try it; but i highly advise against any one that wants to open a Power Supply UNIT (PSU).
My advise is: Pc power and cooling does upgrades and modifications to existing PSU's for a small charge. Send it in to them get a new fan, sata wires, PCI-e video cableing, and a 24 pin motherboard connector added on while it is in the shop. PC Power and Cooling sells a 24 to 20 pin conversion cable that converts a 24 pin psu to work with a 20 pin motherboard so you will be set for the future.

Also by using a slower and less efficiant fan you drasticly reduce both the MTBF and Maximum output of the psu (fewer avalable watts under full load)

I would avoid Raidmax like the plague, especially since you are overclocking. I had one and its rails were all over the place while overclocking... It burned out, and it burned out my hard drive as well.

I now have a sl400 Antec Smartpower, and it is rock solid.

I ended up getting a Seasonic (my first one). I love it, this thing is very, very quiet.
