Take a trip over to cusl2.com. There are links to updated 815 drivers on the right. Visit the forums there and ask your question. There are many knowledgeable people there. I bet if you install an updated driver it will solve the problem.

Okies...here we go with installing the CUSL2:

As soon as you finish installing the OS, make sure you install the Chipset inf Drivers.

Intel ATA Storage Drivers are optional....they make a large increase in performance, but if you are going to use IDE CDRWs, I suggest avoiding them for the time being.

You have an SBLive? Then you need to do the following, otherwise Win98 won't restart/shutdown properly:

Enable LPT Interrupt Sharing in the SB Emulation Device in the device manager.

Disable the DOS SB Emulation in the device manager (optional).

Set IRQ 5 Reserved to Yes in PCI/PNP Resource Exclusion list in the BIOS.

Disable Legacy USB in the BIOS.

If you are not going to use the 2nd USB bracket, you might as well disable it through the jumpers on board.

If you are not going to use the 2nd serial port, disable that in the BIOS to free up an IRQ.

There are 3 USB jumpers. One is located near the last CNR slot towards the edge of the board. The other two are located near the pin headers for the iPanel...next to the ASUS ASIC for hardware monitoring. Should be marked as USBPWRxx.

Argh....ignore the above post...they changed what the manual says those jumpers do...:(

Now it says that they are for power up and if you disable the jumpers, you can't use Suspend to RAM....:(
