Before I call fedex and make them suffer my wrath, I thought Id ask here. I have a case I bought from newegg (Maxtop 7788 KLB). Its a nice case, I like it, I like it even better than the FIRST one I ordered several weeks ago that fedex mangled so badly that it appeared as nothing more than a chunk of plastic with a few screws here and there for decoration. The front panel is completely broken off, held together only by the wires for the power button and USB ports etc. The little plastic poles or struts or whatever are broken. 3 of them are completely broken off of both the panel and the metal chassis and rolling around in the box. What I want to know is what kind of glue should I use in trying to fix it? Or should I even bother. Maybe some of that model cement stuff? Crazy glue be too weak?
Also, is there anyway I can get fedex to cough up the money for this thing? Sending it back is not really an option anymore as the case was needed weeks ago when I first got my mangled package. I dont know if newegg includes insurance in the shipping charge or not, does anyone know? And if so can it get my money back and keep the nearly worthless case? That would make me feel a helluva lot better, I should have had a case nearly a month ago.
This will undoubetly be the last time I use fedex, even if it means paying more for shipping and shopping somewhere other than newegg. I can accept a screw up once, but twice in a row and thats it for me.
