I wanted to know if my friend can use my 1ghz FCPGA processor in his HP.

His HP model is... HP Pavollion 8750c.

He currently Has a 733Mhz pentium III chip and wanted to know if my 1Ghz chip will work.

Please i really need your guys help..

THanks.

if he bought the computer Pre-built then chances are that the mother board won't support it because your processer is to fast. And if it will support it, it probably won't get the full speed of the processor

Looks like the motherboard is running the right FSB, have you checked which P3 style he has? Have you checked HP's website for bios upgrades to support faster chips?
