Depends...AFA the 4x4 versions go, they are nearly indestructable b/c they are so light. They flip over easily on the trail, but it only takes two or three guys to flip it back over! They are so small that they literally fit almost anywhere...even where Jeep Wranglers can't go. They respond well to modifications and parts are cheap.

Going under the opposite assumption that Shankroid has no idea what 4x4 means...he wrapped HIS Samurai around a light pole and needs parts.

Exactly!!! You got the truck for peanuts; who CARES if you roll it down a hill? Grab a BFH, unbend enough sheetmetal so the wheels can turn again and lather, rinse, repeat.

Yep Im gonna cut it up put some lower gears, bigger tires and make a rock crawler out of it.
They are actually a pretty capable off road vehicle.
