Need help installing 2nd hard drive

I installed a 2nd hard drive, hooked up the Sata power and data connections, but when I reboot my PC its still only showing my C:\

Can anybody help?
 
Does the second drive show up in the BIOS? [Nevermind]

Is it new? Does it have a partition on it? If it's a blank drive, it won't have a drive letter until it's been initialized and partitioned.
 
Just that it wasnt showing up in Windows. Had to go into Disk Management and format the drive, no biggie, i had just never done things that way before. This is my first time with a computer with more than one hard drive.

That's because on the first one it's initialized and formatted during install so you don't have to go into disk management. With all subsequent new drives you will.
