Need help in identifying a fuse

anyone?

I basically need help identifying it. I can then find a place that sells it later.

USE:

This is the fuse of a set of Harman/Kardon HK595 Computer speakers. Once again Everytime I add a new fuse and turn it on THe green light flashes on and off and I hear a "pop." It burns the fuses every time.

Here is a picture of the speakers

Here's a horrifying thought: you find the right fuse, spend $5 on it, put it in and IT blows anyway. :Q

WTF

That is what I did...except the fuses were $2.45 for 5 of them.

Basically

1)did I get the right type of fuse? {fast acting}
2) and second, if the fuse is correct, what could be shorting out the amp/sub etc?

I think you need to find out WHY it is blowing first...

Or, just wrap the sucker in foil and stick it back in. 😉 Hey, you wont have fuse problems again. 😉

Definitely. THis whole disscussion has been centered around making sure that the fact that I am using a FAST-ACTING fuse has nothing to do with the problem, as I didn't want to mess with theamp just yet.

I have opened the sub and poked around, but didn't feel like disconencting stuff until I was assured I would have to.

THanks
