Hi guys, Im new to the forums...I am building a new A64 machine and I have bought a Asus a8n-sli deluxe board already and dual BFG 6600GT OC. I need suggestions for the cpu...I want my system to be very stable at overclocking...

1.)I was wondering if its better just buying a 3500+ or a 3000+??? Which is better for max overclock??

2.)Also what kinda cooler would I need?? Will Stock cooler be sufficient??

3.)What kind of memory will I need?? Will a cheap PC3200 samsung 3-3-3-8 be good enough or will I need a 2-2-2-5 memory module?? What brands and model type do you guys recommend for good overclocking??

4.)What good does the memory latency do?? will it matter at all for overclocking??

5.)if i have anymore ? ill post back...hehe...

6.)in the overclocking guide that is stickied, what did the author mean "if i want LL or bandwidth"?? whats the difference?? also which is better for fast gaming?? LL or bandwidth??

hi guys, back again...i was trying different configurations all night and so far my most stable config with a Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe bios v1004 is...

HT=Auto
HTT=280MHZ
Multiplier=9
PCIe=100 lock
pci=33mhz lock
Ram=Auto

I've seen people posting their max HTT being 230mhz...is my case of 280 out of the ordinary or am i doing something wrong?? also the HT setting, is it bad to put it below x5?? will it be slower if set below that threshold?
