mine can get pretty bad especially if i'm just jotting down notes.

i've noticed 2 types of people seem to have awesome handwriting- lefties, and girls.

i've also noticed there's a distinct inverse proportion between the neatness of your handwriting, and the speed at which you can type. i've rarely met anyone that can do both. probably because we get less handwriting time when we're on ATOT typing all day, which i think is a better skill in this world anyway.

the people i've seen who write so damn neatly it's disgusting, usually can't find the "f" key on the keyboard and chicken peck. i on the other hand write like chickenscratch but can type a full report with my eyes closed with little to no mistakes quicker than some can read it. i'm sure there are outliers and exceptions, but from my personal experience you've got one or the other, i figure i picked the more useful one :)

<< Blah, who needs hand writing. I type faster than I write. Hand writing actually is bad for me because I think even faster than I type. >>

Damn in-class essays! I often type faster then I think. hehe, not a good thing while writing essays.

Teacher doesn't really matter, I think. I remember pretty much since 1st grade until 10th grade, I'd be in the same classes pretty much with like 10 other people. Some of em had way better writing then me. Of course, also look at how a lot of foreigners have neato writing. In Vietnam for instance, if you're handwriting was messy, you'd get punished. I don't know if its true now, but that makes for some neat students.

Long as other people can read your writing, I figure its good enough. I often leave entire letters out while writing and they can still read my writing.

yup nothing quite as fustrating as writing essays on paper when your thinking way faster then your writing. writing is SO slow:(

Screw that! It seems that handwriting does not matter much anymore. Virtually all entities or organisations or persons ask you to type up documents. I miss the feeling of obligation to improve on my handwriting. I could never get it as neat and nice as many other folks.

The best was those who were really smart and had nice handwriting too. In most cases it was not so; but whenever it was, it was beautiful. :D

So, just keep up with your typing speed/skill.

Your handwriting still matters a lot, though, if one really cares to know your true nature. Handwriting tells me a lot about someone. . . . My sis went from a very pretty handwriting to a harsh kinda handwriting.

Anyway, if you still want to improve on your handwriting, just get a notebook and practice writing letters. I'm afraid my teachers never taught me like they should have. Maybe I was meant to be left-handed but no one discovered my potential; thus my bad handwriting! :D In any case, try each letters and then merge them together, for practice is what makes better or best. There is no magic or overnight change to virtually anything, really! ;) Don't be deceived! :D
