I know its not a brown recluse or black widow.

In central Oklahoma fwiw.

If it isn't a Brown Recluse or Black Widow then I wouldn't worry to much.
Keep an eye on your dog for signs of an allergic reaction and make sure it doesn't lick the spot raw.

Out of curiosity, how do you know it bit the dog? Did it yelp? Is there a spot on the dog somewhere? It'd be helpful to me so I could know if it ever happened to my dog.

It jumped on the dog when she went into the grass to go pee. Then she jumped and ran out onto the sidewalk and hauled ass to my wife who said she picked her up and it was still attached to her belly so she had to fling it off.

Now there is a big mark where it bit her.

Whatever kind of spider it is, it jumps really well.

It really just looks like a wolf spider. They are all over the place in the US. They are relatively harmless. They can bite (obivously) but their venom is not lethal.

And yes, they can jump. They're agressive hunters.

take the dog to the vet tomorrow(if you can) to get it checked out and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get worse. If your dog starts acting funny try to take it to a 24hour vet hospital(or whatever they call it). Living in the boonies my animals have had to make many emergency trips to the vet.

I suppose you're right.
It does look like one in features but not in coloration, which I guess is just based on where its from.
