Wow, lots of input for this thread. I wish all my threads get this much input. ;)

RobsTV: Good advice, as usual. :)

DallasTejas: Thank you for your rough estimation of the prices on components. But I am very sure I can pull off a 1 Ghz Tbird with Mobo for $200.00. And your prices for RAM are a bit steep. You should go check out the HOT DEAL forum. They have killer prices on RAM as of now. I also have a few parts lying around here (like a case with 300 watt PS, hard drives, disk drives, cd-roms, etc.) :) It happens, after hanging around here for too long. ;) ) Thanks for the input though. :D

hotrodder: Thanks for the tip, I'll go check them out.

astartz: Huh?

A quick correction.
The Durons do not require anything close to a 300w supply.
Even a piss poor 235w supply is more than enough.
Check out AMD's site. Even they say approved means nothing, and they list many 235w as approved.
Never had any power problems with Durons and cheap Comp Geeks $25 ATX cases.
This is nothing like the Slot A Athlons that sucked up power.

Most modern motherboards do NOT need PC133 ram. Even the Abit KT7 has it as an option in Bios. Even so, you can now get Top Of The Line name brand 128meg PC150 Cas2 ram for about $60. Or cheap Kingston 128meg PC133 Cas3 for only $30. As junthin points out, Anandtech's Hot Deals forum is the only place to look for prices.
