Need help getting a quick statistic on the USofA

i found this for the UK but i would like something like this for the USA. I googled for the past 10 minutes and i can't find it...


any help?

Just do what most other statistians do and pull a figure out of your ass.

I can't remember the exact figures, but the quote that's been floating around is:

"The top 1% of the wealthy have <90%, 95%, 99%> of the wealth in the USA."

I'm sure on the 1% figure, but all I remember about the other figure is that it's above 90%.

i think the US is way unbalanced compared to the world. - i have heard about the top 1% of US owning 90% or so of the US. I would like a source for this tho =\
