Just got another machine built and I have lost my paper with my config settings for my ISP Anyone know where I can find these on the machine I am using?? need the DNS addresses.

Hi Bleep.

Go to Dial Up networking-
In Win 98, under accesories, communications.
Right click your ISP connection, properties.
Mostly self explanatory from there, but your DNS can be found under server types, TCP/IP settings.

Thanks but no workie. ipconfig brings up a dos screen momentarly but not long enough to read.

I will give that a try. I did this once before but could not remember how. Really pretty stupid of me to loose the paperwork. I want to get it cracking tonight and then tommorrow I can configure it to my network.

depends on what OS you are running

for win2k I forgot to add run cmd first
then run ipconfig /all
 
Well thanks guys, got it going and downloaded some work for it. Something screwy though it is a celron 533 and only tests at 1.14 and it should be about 1.5 or so. Well I will fool with it tommorrow, getting late, need to go to beddie by.
